Age
10k - Entrants must be aged at least 15 years of age on the day of the event.
Junior mile - Entrants must be aged at least 5 years of age on the day of the event.
Personal health and fitness
You understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous, and you should not enter and participate unless you are medically able and properly trained.
Medical treatment while attending Worthing 10K
By entering this event, you are confirming that should you require any medical treatments during your attendance at the Worthing 10K, whether before, during or after the actual run, they may be administered by the events’ official medically qualified personnel.
UKA Approach to Anti-Doping
An entrant shall be deemed to have made him/herself/their self, familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules.
Race Numbers
All runners are required to complete emergency contact and medical information details on the back of their race number. Please complete the relevant medical details on the back of the race number if you have any medical condition or are taking any medication(s).
Race Number Transfers
You must not under any circumstances give your race number to anyone else. Amongst other potential problems, doing so may cause problems of identification for the event medical services in the case of any accident or injury. Any attempt to do so will result in immediate disqualification of the individual(s) concerned and ejection from the event.
The deadline to complete an official transfer is 4 weeks prior to the event. Please contact info@worthing10k.co.uk if you wish to transfer your number to another runner.
Refunds and Cancellations
No refunds are given. This applies also if the race is cancelled or postponed due to circumstances outside our control, such as adverse weather conditions. Your entry fee is invested in the cost of staging the event, and the main costs to contractors, suppliers, administration etc. are already committed well before race day.
Duplicate entries
Duplicate entries made in genuine error will be refunded in full.
Animals
Animals will not be permitted on Worthing 10K course. We are unable to allow guide dogs, but can offer a free place to guide runners. E-mail us at info@worthing10k.co.uk
Your personal data
You acknowledge that the Event Organiser collects personal data from you when you submit your online registration form. Your personal information will only be used by us and any appointed third parties for purposes in direct connection with the delivery of the event.
Use of image
By taking part in the Worthing 10K you grant full and irrevocable permission to us, to use any photographs, or video footage that may include your image.
Cancellation of the event
We reserve the right, in our absolute discretion, to cancel, delay or postpone the event due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances out of our reasonable control. In such cases, we will endeavour to inform participants as quickly as is possible. Where the event has to be cancelled, delayed or postponed due to circumstances outside of our reasonable control (including for the avoidance of doubt due to adverse weather conditions or because of instructions from the emergency services) we shall not be liable for any inconvenience, expenses, costs, losses or damages suffered by participants.

Participation in the event is entirely at your own risk and by entering the event participants acknowledge that we shall not be liable for death, injury, loss or damage arising from participation in the event save to the extent that it is caused by our negligence.
